Our sustainable, eco-friendly, and naturally derived products are designed to help you detox your space and create a cleaner, healthier atmosphere.

FOUNDER + CEO

Nidia Gassaway (née Zeledón Fajardo), a millennial born in Nicaragua and raised in New Orleans, is the maker behind the brand. What began as a personal hobby—creating candles and beauty products for her own use—quickly evolved into a thriving business.
Inspired by her mother and a family legacy of hardworking entrepreneurs, Nidia was motivated to build something of her own. Her passion for candles, fragrances, and creating products that enhance everyday living ultimately led to the creation of The Aromaux Co.

ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS:

SOY WAX

When it comes to shopping for candles, the scent and aroma shouldn’t be the only factor to consider. Candles can be made out of a variety of different waxes, with each wax having different properties that affect the performance. We use 100% Soy wax and our very own carefully developed candle formula, that’s just one of our secrets that sets our products apart from the rest.

FRAGRANCE OILS

Our fragrance oils are in compliance with the International Fragrance Association (IFRA). Here at The Aromaux Co. we use fragrances free of carcinogens, reproductive toxins, and other concerning chemicals. We do not use banned oils. All these factors make our candles less likely to trigger allergies.

CRACKLING WOODEN WICKS!

Wooden wicks are more sustainable than cotton wicks. Our wooden wicks heat your wax evenly, allowing you to get the most out of your candle. They also produce a sound reminiscent of a wood-burning fireplace. It is this unique feature that makes a wooden wick candle so appealing.
